Sakurako Shimizu makes amazing art that gives manifest physical form to the human voice. Using sound waves as a medium she makes art that shows the sound waves of “I do”, or a giggle, and even sneezes.
This is awesome

No joke, I heard a story of my friend’s DI (Staff Sargent), when he was in Iraq:
He was on patrol and had around 20 40mm on him or something and a shit load of ammo and 3 AT tubes in each HUMVEE in a convoy of 4-5 HUMVEEs. And in 2 engagements on their patrol, they spent ALL of their ammo on the insurgents and had to get back to their FOB (Which was Saddam’s palace at the time).
Once they got there, each .50 cal prolly had around 100+ rounds left with each Marine with 1-2 mags left but the gate (which was BIG AS FUCK) took forever to open and the insurgents were closing in on them FAST.
But right when the door cracked open a little bit, a Marine sprinted out of the gate with a M240B with ammo belts strapped to him and just plopped on the floor with the bipod deployed shooting accurate suppression fire.
That gave the convoy enough time to get in safely, but when the Marine walked back in, the SSgt. walked up to him and went “WHAT THE FUCK MARINE? ARE YOU FUCKING FORCE RECON OR SOMETHING?”
And the Marine looks at him and goes “NO STAFF SARGENT, I’M IN THE MARINE CORPS BAND SIR.”Haha, But I Still Blame Glee For The Pussification Of Our Nations Liberal Youth …
Hell. Fucking. Yes.
5500 over here. Proud of it.
Just another reason why the Marine Corps Band is badass

Memorial Day is a day to remember all of those who we have lost and thank and pray for all those who are currently serving in the armed forces. Everyone has been or knows someone who has been affected by war and tomorrow is the day to show appreciation for all armed service men and woman.
